The 2013 series of Object Overload is the very first incarnation of the franchise. Pre-production began in 2012 before the first episode, "The End of the Beginning", released on April 12th, 2013. Its last episode, "Lost and Found", was released on March 5th, 2014 before being cancelled around October of the same year, leaving the seventh episode unreleased. It was replaced by the 2015 series.

- According to Niall on a DeviantArt journal comment, there would not be a rejoin, though he would have let Top Hat rejoin if it did.[1]
- Niall had plans for a second season before the first episode released. The hypothetical second season would have had viewer voting and characters from his unreleased show, Infection, appear as contestants.
